PR OK!

Thank you for your interest in Coupon Scribbles.

If you have not read my profile yet let me tell you a little bit about me. I am a Mom, Wife, Blogger, Student, Teacher, Freelance Writer, Head Dish and Bottle Washer for the Peoples Family.
I blog about saving money. I am a stay at home mom who has learned how to save money by buying the things her family enjoys anyway. For a family of 4 I spend no more than $30 per week and that is with a cart full of food. The economy has made everyone tighten their belts.

Almost 3 billion coupons went unused in 2008.  Most coupons are about 50 cents or more. You can do the math there. Wouldn’t you want to save that money back in your pocket. They say a typical family saves about $600 a year with coupons, but I have saved much more than that. The key to being a savvy shopper is the strategy that you use. It’s so much more than clipping coupons from your Sunday paper. Saving money on groceries allows you to spend money on other things like classes, sports, lessons and other fun outings that your children will enjoy.

I have been featured on ABC and Fox News stations to give “Coupon Queen” advice. In addition I give Couponing Workshops to help others learn how to save money. I was selected as a Savings.com DealPro in October. I was flown to San Francisco for a conference on the evolution of saving and couponing. I am an expert on how to save money by having frugal ideas but not looking frugal.

I enjoy doing product and book reviews and hosting giveaways for my readers. I will post information on company campaigns and promotions that are of interest to my readers.

Product Reviews:

I do not charge for product reviews that I conduct. Of the products that I personally use and review, I am unable to return unless the arrangements are discussed prior to the arrival of the product.

I am unable to do product reviews unless I have actually had the opportunity to use the product (or service) personally.

I am open to all product reviews that are for family friendly products that will be a good fit for my readers. If I feel your product is not a good fit for my readers I will let you know that in the beginning.

If more then one product is shipped, unless prior giveaway arrangements were made, I will donate additional products to local charities or offer the product for a giveaway at my discretion. Children’s items will be held until the holidays to be donated to Toys for Tots or the local Ronald McDonald House. Books will be donated to the local schools.

Book Reviews:

I do not charge for book reviews. Please keep in mind the size of the book will reflect the length of time it takes to review the book. I will not rush it through or place ambiguous reviews just to complete the project. I am also a Mom so there are times when I will not be able to read as often as I would like. I will also communicate so that you are well aware of my proposed timeline and when the review will be placed on the site.

Giveaways:

Offering a product, book, subscription or gift certificate is a good way to create a buzz about a product, service or book. Coupon Scribbles readers love and appreciate the opportunity to win prizes. Please consider offering an additional product or gift certificate for a giveaway when asking for a review. It’s not mandatory but the option is available to you.

Shipping to the winner can be negotiated.

Some giveaways do exceptionally well where as others do not. I use all avenues to promote reviews & giveaways as much as I can using various forms of social networking including Twitter and Facebook. I also adhere to the Facebook rules for giveaways. It all depends on the product being offered and if readers find that they are interested in the product for themselves or for a loved one.

Special campaigns and promotions:

I do not post ads but if you offer something special for the readers (10% Off for Coupon Scribbles Readers, etc) I will let my readers know. Consider doing a giveaway or having a review completed on your service or promotion where that information can be placed within the post.

Advertising:

I am currently accepting advertising on my blog. Note that advertising on the site is not a guarantee of any or all clicks or sign ups. All ad sales are final. It’s important that your product or service is something that would appeal to my readers (women, mothers, dads, families…).

I have the right to refuse ads. If the ad is not family friendly, it will not be posted.
