I have to say that this week was my hardest yet. There were more opportunities than usually available to cheat. Someone brought something in to our class and I had two friends ask me to go to breakfast with them. I think the only worries I have is that these things are normal. Once I have hit my ideal goal I think it’s ok to cheat a little but to snap yourself right back on track. But I really feel that cheating during the first few weeks can be a detriment.
Yes I am beating myself up because I did have the cinnamon roll at class. It was bad for me but it was good. I think I was able to compensate for it a little bit by just sticking to the diet strickly for the remainer of the week. I also did get three good workouts in. But in my mind I knew it was wrong.
One of the things I am working on as I work on this diet is to not feel I’m bad for a slip up along the way. I was able to drink my water each day (yay me!) which is something that I probably wouldn’t have done/have done with any other diet. My favorite meal this week was the sloppy joe. I put it on a piece of wheat bread and it was so good. I thought that it might taste a little bland but it had tons of flavor. Yum. I will definitely add it to my list for next month.
My favorite breakfast was the Sweentened O’s cereal which reminded me of Cheerios. My favorite dessert this week was the Thin Mint Crisp Bar. I like anything mint so when you add chocolate and mint together I’m in!!! I only lost one pound this week I think next week will be a bigger loss to make up for it.
