Hello. I just wanted to let you know what Groupon said when I called them today as it might help others who experienced the same problem. Apparently the voucher is not the actual gift card (even if it says it’s good now and for all intents and purposes looks like that’s all you need). Within 5 days you will get another email that provides a code. It will instruct you to go to the cvs website. You enter in the code and it provides you an official CVS egift card. You can then take that into CVS and you won’t have and issues with it or at least that’s what groupon customer service told me. Hope this helps!

Hoepfully it will be resolved sometime tomorrow. If not I will contact them and try to post something no later than tomorrow evening cause that is strange.

I brought in my cvs groupon egift card today and it as well didnt work. Both employees in the store had no idea what I was talking about and they called their district manager and their DM had no idea what it was. I stood there like an idiot and sadly was unable to use it. This is the first time I’ve ever used groupon (obviously as per the deal) and I’m really upset. The cvs employees even called the toll free number on the print out and it didnt even go to an automated message saying they were closed for the weekend it just gave a beeping phone disconnected noise. I feel like I was scammed. I too bought the card on Friday got a confirmation email saying it was active after 4/7 noon. Tried using it today around noon on 4/8.

That is something she or others will have to deal with groupon about. I have not heard about any other problems. Everyone else is stating that its working fine. I will keep a ear out for it though and let you and others via post if I hear different.

I am a current CVS employee.. A customer brought a supposed “Groupon CVS egift card” today and we couldn’t get it to work. She said she got the confirmation, paid for and already out of her account, Friday. I was wondering what the gift card looks like actually because my manager and I couldn’t get it to work. When he called corporate office, they said they had not heard anything about it so we couldn’t give her the money off of her purchase. any time we tried to push it through , it was trying to charge her $20.
