We have been trying to focus on making healthier choices. It’s never too late to begin eating healthier and exercising. I used to think that increasing Protein was just for bulking up and gaining muscle but I have learned a lot. That’s why I was so excited to try Supreme Protein Barspowered with Whey Isolate. It really does make a difference! But you know if it tastes like tree bark it won’t help you much because you won’t eat it. No worries here. The first flavor I tried was Peanut Butter Pretzel Twist which is so yummy! It’s just like a candy bar that you shouldn’t eat. And the best part is that I felt full and satisfied afterwards. You can really taste the peanut butter and the combination makes a nice treat.

Next was the Caramel Nut Chocolate which was full of chocolate and it tasted more like I was treating myself than eating something good for me

Finally I was able to try one of their new flavors Peanut Butter & Jelly which tastes just like the sandwich. I made the mistake of eating one in front of my son and now he wants his own. I don’t know why I forgot the golden rule of not eating in front of the children because they always want it, lol.

Peace at the Edge of Uncertainty is a book about beginnings and journeys. Neil Hanson tells of the story of a man who journeys to the edge of life as we know it to tell of. The edge of death is explained in first person as you would think someone is feeling as they journey from the here and now to the hearafter. I enjoyed how enlightening it was because you really only think about your own point of view when you are losing a loved one, but this book gives you their insight.

The author gives you a glimpse of his own experiences as a young man (with a near death as a wrestler) to later as a grieving son. Neil Hanson writes in the form of a letter to his departed father which is very moving. It is written with emotion and feeling.

This is a story about how we come to the end of life, and how we handle the decisions that we all must make when we get there. Regardless of which role we play when a life is coming to an end, there are difficult decisions to be made, and these decisions never look the same from the inside as they do from the outside.
