Name of the Product Write Stuff School Supplies Kit

Where it can be purchased write-stuff.com

Description

The Write Stuff, Inc., a back to school supply company located in St. Charles, IL will be shipping out thousands of school supply kits to homes and schools across the country.  Students will receive items packaged neatly in boxes or shrink wrapped based on their specific school supply lists.

Back-to-school season is upon us.  In 2009, the National Retail Federation reported that the average family would spend $82.62 on school supplies per child.  This includes a variety of items that are often difficult to find at local retailers.  As the economy continues to weaken tax based supported schools, districts are tightening their belts and putting the burden back on the families.

Schools that have provided The Write Stuff with their supply lists will find bundled kits available for purchase on their web site www.write-stuff.com under “school kits”.  For those schools not listed, parents can add individual items to their cart and build their own kit.  Over 1,000 different items are available from name brand vendors like Crayola, Mead, Fiskars, and Elmer’s.

Mead Money Madness – Mead’s loyalty points program offers rewards for eligible purchases. Look for the Money Madness tag on the company’s products, enter the UPC at www.mead.com and start earning points. And, by simply weighing in on their favorites, teens could win themselves and one of the artists/bands $25,000 each.

Review

Who doesn’t know the Mead name when it comes to school supplies.  And they are local in Dayton Ohio.  When it comes to school supplies I remember the name Mead.  I had Mead supplies when I was a kid and if you ask my kids they would say that is a long, long time ago.  And because you can find these items at Target, it’s easy to run in and pick up what you need.

And they are not just durable, they are fashionable.  Don’t think about taking an ugly notebook to school.

Your teens will love it.  By the way my preschooler loves them too. Make sure Mead is on your list for Back to School

They are great for the younger students with smaller bookstocarry to classes (junior-high, elementary). The characters are very popular with tweens AND moms.  This tote can be carried either in the hand using the strings, or thrown on the back using the strings like a backpack.

Review

Oh how I love those characters hoops&yoyo.  Remember them in the Father’s Day Guide here.  Well they are back with an adorable tote.  The size of the tote is perfect for a day at the park or going to school.  Check out my son modeling it.

It is super cute and since I have a boy and a girl I can flip it over and it works for her.

This is a perfect back to school item to carry those school supplies in. It’s that time a year again.

2010 Back to School Guide – EasyLunchBoxes.com Containers and Carrying Bag

Name of the Product EasyLunchBoxes.com

Where it can be purchased EasyLunchBoxes.com

Description

Mornings spent in chaos making breakfast, beds, & lunch boxes?

The EasyLunchbox system makes it simple to organize, and quickly pack healthy lunches without wasting money, time, paper or plastic.

Born out of response to unhealthy school lunch programs, EasyLunchboxes.com started from the desire to send kids to school with a nutritious meal, using little to no wasteful packaging. But the EasyLunchbox System is not just for kids. Adult size meals fit perfectly too.

The EasyLunchbox System ‘s design, functionality, and low price has quickly made it a top choice among green lunch box solutions since it came on the market in D ecember, 2009. Named a ‘top 5 Eco-Friendly Mommy Must Have” by Parents Ask, the EasyLunchbox System has been rated TOP CHOICE by many independent reviewers.

So much time was wasted sorting through a cabinet of mismatched food containers while trying to pack 15-25 well-balanced lunches per week. Moms struggle to find something that would help them pack lunches fast, without resorting to the ‘convenience’ of expensive, pre-packaged ‘fast-food.’ Most importantly, Moms want something attractive, eco-friendly, and  made of food-safe materials that don’t have to wash by hand.

The clever solution to the lunch-packing chore is the simple two piece EasyLunchbox container: The bottom has three compartments to hold an entree or sandwich and two side dishes. The fitted lid (which comes in 4 colors) covers all three compartments at once. No more squished sandwiches, mismatched plastic container pieces to keep track of (matching up all those bottoms and lids was the thing that drove me nuts!) or wasteful baggies. Fits perfectly inside the roomy EasyLunchbox custom carrying bag. And there is still plenty of room to throw in an extra snack or two, whole fruit, perhaps a thermos of soup, drink and ice block.  Flexibility is key, and since so many different things can fit, no matter what menu you choose to include, it packs easily and quickly. It’s amazing how much faster, greener, & easier lunch box packing is with the EasyLunchbox system.

Review

When it’s back to school time, its definitely time to think about kids lunch boxes.  I have a real problem with the school lunches.  They are not healthy at all and while it is convenient I elect to send my child to school with lunch.  We have tried everything from lunch boxes with characters on them to brown bags.  The problem with those items is that it’s difficult to keep everything in the same shape as it was in the beginning.  Usually the sandwich is smooshed but if you are hungry you will probably eat it.  EasyLunchBoxes has an awesome container system. There is room enough for a sandwich or pita and two other compartments for fruit and other snacks.  The carrying bag has plenty of room.  If your kids like juice or water, no need to bring a separate bag, there is room in there for the container and the drink.

Here is a picture of the carrying bag.  You can even make those more personable.  I’m a simple kind of gal so a plan color is fine for me.  Purple is my favorite color.

And look at all of the room inside.

The containers are very sturdy and have cute colorful lids.

I like the fact that they go in the dishwasher. After cooking dinner I really don’t want to stand up washing dishes AND fixing lunches for the next day.

EasyLunchBoxes are the premier product in back to school lunch boxes.  They will last you this school year and beyond.  We used ours when we went to the park.  There are many uses for them.  And of course no plastic bags which is better for the environment.  Add EasyLunchBoxes to your back to school list.  You will be glad you did.
