Raising the Candy Bar is a family owned and run brick and mortar retail store and manufacturing facility is in Skokie, IL.  It’s what you’d imagine Willy Wonka would open as a storefront, though this one specializes too, it’s the largest kosher candy store in the midwest, and also strong in the niche chocolate market — gluten-free, organic, vegan, lactose free, dairy free, nut free, sugar free and more.  They make all the chocolate on site in two kitchens.

I would call chocolate from Raising the Candy Bar – Chocolate Heaven.  There are so many different candies to choose from.  But they are good and I mean very good.  I saved mine until the kids went to bed and then I enjoyed them because I didn’t want to share.  Oops that’s bad – Mom not sharing, lol.  It was my special treat and well worth the calories.  But I heard that if you bite them first the calories fall out of them.  Don’t quote me on it.

I received a sample of this product to review at no charge but my opinions are not influenced in any way by this fact. They are my own.
